Hi Everyone

Just looking forward to a great night on Friday for changeover 2 . Ros excited about finally handing
over the famous Rotary collar . Members and guests will assemble at Urban grounds at 6 pm . A
surprise guest speaker should provide some rare entertainment .

Great to see eight guests last Friday including past president Tiffany Hardy . Wendy Byron supplying
information on projects highlighting the immense scope of Rotary . Youth portfolio interested in the
Interact E club initiative with several interested young people .

Membership portfolio had a lively meeting after the main meeting discussing our upcoming Friends
of Rotary inductions .

The domestic violence vigil held at the village green last Friday was attended by 500 people . Six
members of our club attended in purple shirts as did other Rotarians .

Word of the week EXCELLENCE . Remember when we hoped for EXCELLENT on our report cards at
school . I guess EXCELLENCE I but something we strive for ENDLESSLY

Harlaxton State School 125-year celebrations

We are underway organising catering for the Harlaxton School 125-year BBQ lunch on Saturday the 22nd of August. We will be providing Beef and Chicken Burgers and drinks for minimal cost to help them out.

Could you please save the date if you are available and consider helping out on the day.

We will need to cover from 9.30 am to 2pm to allow for preparation and clean up. We might be able to split it into 2 shifts if we can get the numbers.
