Hi everyone (enthusiastic bulletin readers)

 

Unfortunately, the Blush Function last Friday had to be postponed. Our hands will be needed for this Friday, 5pm at the Village Green (between Ruthven Street and the Toowoomba City Library).

 

RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) is being conducted on Nov 4, 5, 6 & 16. Let me know if you can help. It runs school hours about 8.30am to 2pm.

 

Please keep in mind RYTS (Rotary Youth Transition Seminar) being held in December. We would like to send a young person (Yr 11 or so) to this valuable experience. See the flier or contact Bill.

 

Could we get a couple of teams of 4 for Trivia With a Twist to support the Rotary Club of Toowoomba North on Nov 7. This event is being held at 2pm at 39 Buckland Street, Harristown.

 

Let's keep our lively meetings and bring some guests to share our fun environment. 

 

There is a sausage sizzle at Bunnings Toowoomba West on Sunday, Nov 8. An opportunity for our Friends of Rotary to help out here.

 

Word of the week is EDUCATION. We have all be fortunate to have received various forms of EDUCATION. EDUCATION continues as we wind our way through life's experiences. Our recent guest speaker told of many EDUCATION opportunities available at Y3A. We see many Rotary projects providing EDUCATION to needy communities, whose children are so happy and ENTHUSIASTIC about their schooling.
