Thanks for being part of a great meeting last Friday morning. Thanks to Fiona and Maree for sharing
with us their stories. How fortunate are we to have these two new members as we look forward to
discovering how their experience and talents will complement the energy and vitality of our club .
The board met last night for almost 2 hours at Lara`s office. Thanks to Syd and Paul who have put in
much work to learn the benefits of Club Runner and encouraging everyone to become familiar with
its benefits and workings .
Friends of Rotary initiative was well discussed and hopefully will welcome its first members on
August 7
Board leaders are encouraged to make their respective groups live, active and inclusive with more
frequent communications between meetings via perhaps Messenger or other methods. I encourage
all members to engage and supply input and ideas for their portfolios. Board leaders will report
their progress and goals for discussion at our monthly Club Assembly .
The monthly meeting of presidents of our area happens at the Wilkinson cluster, chaired by
Wendy Byron . Ros will be assisting Wendy.

Word of the week ENTHUSIASM . Since discovering EFFORT as mentioned last week I have
discovered so many versions of the E word . This week I share ENTHUSIASM as one of my favourites
