Hello and welcome to the Rotary Club of Toowoomba Garden City’s website.

Our Rotary Club is very active!  Our club meets every Friday morning (excl. public holidays) at Regents on the Lake, cnr Perth and Mackenzie Streets, Toowoomba at 6.45am for 7.00am start.

We have a lot of fun and fellowship raising monies for worthwhile causes and undertaking many local community projects such as gardens, youth activities and camps and raising funds for local organisations. As well as international projects like the eradication of polio and malaria, clean water projects and education.

We appeal to community minded people keen to be involved with a friendly group. Our members and partners are involved in many activities both socially and in caring for the local community.

Find us on FaceBook, or contact us via our contact page for more information on how you can become involved.

Did you know that Rotary International is the world’s first service club organisation?  Each year more than 1.2 million members worldwide, volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto: Service above self.

Rotary clubs are non-political, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.  As signified by the motto service above self, rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

As a Rotarian you will get a chance to become more involved in supporting your local community and provide aid to other parts of the world through the opportunities that your Rotary Club and Rotary International offer.

We really look forward to hearing from you

Robert Hannemann

President – Rotary Club of Toowoomba Garden City (2014 – 2015).
